Each can is vacuumed sealed with a pull-off lid & plastic cover to re-close can. "THESE NUTS IS STORE FRESH" Our definition of “Store Fresh” is, we do not buy thess nuts in bulk. For us it may be cheaper that way but not fresher way.  We purchase it from a local retailer soon after you purchase it.  These retailers do high volume sales and the supply of these nuts in the store is rotated very often.  It would be just like you came to Hawaii and picked up your coffee yourself.
