Special 82nd Anniversary Edition floor clock features a distinct bonnet pediment with book-matched olive ash burl overlays and a decorative carved applique. Brushed satin brass finished dial features cast center and corner ornaments, and a moon arch with an astrological blue moon phase. Includes a silver chapter ring with applied brass Arabic numerals. Special anniversary inscription on the dial is available through 2008 only. Pendulum, with cast center disk and banded weight shells feature brushed satin brass finish to complement the dial. Two columns feature large reeds with turned column caps that frame the door. The multi-tiered Bombe base includes molding below the door and a decorative cutout. Lower door features a decorative molding with a patterned beveled glass. Removable top side panels feature beveled glass and offer easy access to the movement. A Howard Miller heirloom Record certificate, stored inside a brass-finished keepsake tube, is included for documenting the clock history for future generations. My delivery service will deliver your clock, unpack it and remove all outer packing materials from your home. (Yes, you can get that much from most of the other on-line sellers). However, I go the extra step and arrange for a clock professional to come to your home at no charge to you. He/she will do all the following for you: 1. Level your clock 2. Remove the packing materials from the chime rod 3. Remove the packing materials from the movement 4. Point out the Styrofoam blocks which are not to be removed until after about 8 hours of the clock running has loosened them. Advise what to do when that time passes. 5. Hang the pendulum 6. Hang the weights 7. Set the time and demonstrate how to do so safely 8. Start your clock 9. Demonstrate how to regulate the time (Unregulated, your clock might fast or slow) 10. Answer some questions you might have about operation of your clock. Don't you want to protect your investment from the beginning? Especially, when it costs you no more than buying elsewhere. This additional service is only available if I can find a clock professional within 50 miles of your home. I fully expect that 90-95% of the country (and a higher percentage of the population) has a clock professional within 50 miles. If you are in an isolated part of the country, there will be a travel charge for any distance beyond 50 miles. I try to maintain the lowest prices on-line. However, I don't check every item from every competitor every day.
