Scoop is for serving dry snacks from the bowl.  Truly and heirloom quality set.  The entire set was sanded to 600 grit and has a high gloss.  The bowl has an undercut rim that prevents food from falling out when stirring, scooping or serving from the bowl and makes carrying easier and more comfortable.  Has a slightly elevated foot and swept rim.  Bowls of this design are more difficult to make but the extra time is well worth the results.  Finished with 100% food safe & natural tung oil.   Thanks for looking!
