These units have been declared as "salvage" by the manufacturer.  During shipment, they were turned upside down and rode a considerable distance in a truck in that position.  The manufacturer believes that this could compromise the integrity of the control and ignition components.  The remainder of the parts (including the heat exchange) should be in excellent shape but they have not been tested. Assimulare, Inc. and the manufacturer (Lochinvar Corporation) cannot offer any warranty or guarantee regarding the use of these heaters or their components.  We also will not assume any liability for the use of these items or their components.
