The colours are delicously subtle, a beautiful dark aubergine satin look background with a traditional Georgian design woven in a fabulous antique old gold - a wonderful combination , which will grace any room, from an elegant period drawing room, to an English country sitting room, perfect for anyone wishing to recreate a classic feel to any room.Each curtain, ungathered, measures 84" Wide x 116" Long. However, if the curtains are too long I offer a free alteration service at no extra cost to you.The colour of the fabric is well represented in the photographs , but please be aware of the limitations of digital images and colour photography. If the exact colour is of importance to you, please email me your address before bidding , I am more than happy to send you a free swatch by return post.The curtains are fully lined with 100% Eygptian cotton and they have a 3" pencil pleat header tape at the top and a 3" hem. They are brand new and have never been hung, they are in absolutely pristine condition. If you’re not sure if these curtains will fit your window, follow this quick guide… Measuring the width of your window for curtains ...Measure the length of the pole or track from finial to finial. Ideally the width of EACH curtain should be as near this measurement as possible. You can get away with slightly narrower, or slightly wider ,but bear in mind that the wider the curtain is, the fuller and more sumptious your curtains will look. If you haven’t bought your pole or track yet… Measure the width of the window from wall to wall then add approximately 12 inches to the width of each curtain for a perfect lookTo measure for the length.Measure from the top of the curtain track or pole, to within 1” of the floor.If you want to go for the ‘pool’ effect add approx 6” – 8” to the actual length from track/pole to the floor.I will also supply a detailed leaflet explaining how to care for your new curtains to ensure that they give you many years of perfect service.
