Each time the system is activated - whether by a cycle programmed into the digital controller or you've pushed the mist button on the remote control - it precisely mixes up a fresh batch of solution from the concentrate and then mists. The Smart Cap tells the controller what is in the insecticide cartridge and exactly how much insecticide should be mixed with water to create the misting solution. With the smart cap and Gen III, you can tailor the amount of active ingredients misted and obtain the most control over mosquitoes while using the least amount of insecticide. The Gen III can accomodate a single use smart cap that is replaced each time you replace the insecticide cartridge, or a muti-use smart cap that does not have to be replaced when you replace the insecticide cartridge.
