Hint:  it wouldn't take much over $2000 to win it!   We have a surplus of equipment.  We are now closing the warehouse and have no use for them.  WHITNEY PLANER Model 29A  - 44" single surface planer.  Built when they actually built things to last!  Fully functional when removed from operation - all it should need is a space to sit and power - then start cutting wood!  This machine is perfect for a medium to large cabinet shop, production facility, or molding shop.  Small wood shops could benefit from a dependable machine such as this assuming they have the space. Similar Whitney Planer 36" model just sold at auction for $3800!!!  New one of this quality in neighborhood of $40,000..... get this one for pennies!  Turn time in to money with the capacity of this machine.   The basics (as I understand them - please verify yourself): SOLID construction - extremely heavy and durable, approx. 5' x 6' and 4' tall. 240/480V 3 phase interchangable self feed  and outfeed rollers  - includes anti-kickback mechanism variable feed rate  cuts material up to 42.5" wide and 7" thick max. power 40+ horsepower cutting motor (and some upsurd 25hp feed motor at like 90FPM??? - please verify if significant) 4 blade cutting head with INTEGRATED SHARPENER - (110V - 2hp sharpener motor!) - has extra sharpening stone. Power disconnect, and tooling cabinet bolted to side (see photo) All surfaces as they should be.  Every motor, adjustment and joint features grease cirque and well lubricated.  Best described as industrial - I like the term "indestructible".....
